Cattlemen's Steakhouse

Cattlemen's Steakhouse

Cattlemen's Steakhouse - Cattlemen's Cafe opened its doors to hungry cowboys, ranchers, cattle haulers and the like in 1910. Gene Autry, John Wayne, Ronald Reagan (before he was President), and more recently, Reba McEntire and many more have dined in this historic restaurant at the OKC Stockyards. Artist Collection prints come from a photograph that I have taken and then I creatively edit each one for color and texture to come up with something truly unique.

Yellowstone Bison Watercolor Art

Yellowstone Bison Watercolor Art

Yellowstone Bison - American bison or buffalo once had a population in excess of 60 million in the late 18th century. The species was down to 541 animals by 1889. Recovery efforts expanded in the mid-20th century, with a resurgence to roughly 500,000 animals today, largely restricted to a few national parks and reserves. This one was roaming the grounds of Yellowstone National Park near the west entrance.

Paseo Arts District Watercolor Art

Paseo Arts District Watercolor Art

The Paseo was built in 1929 as the first shopping district north of downtown OKC. The curved, two-block street has maintained its Spanish revival architecture with original stucco buildings and clay tile roofs still intact. Currently, the Paseo is home to over 20 galleries, fabulous restaurants and boutiques.

Pops Bottle on Route 66

Pops Bottle on Route 66

Pops Bottle on Route 66 - Pops is an iconic destination on Route 66 in Arcadia, Oklahoma that features a full-service restaurant, gas station, convenience store with over 700 varieties of bottled sodas, and a very cool, 66-foot-tall, color-changing, pop bottle. Art series prints come from a photograph that I have taken and then I creatively edit each one for color and texture to come up with something truly unique.
